Greetings, accelerated learners.

I actually have an extreme desire to be amongst you, but something holds me back: lack of finances.

After checking out an infomercial on the program at about 4:00 AM, I decided to give that toll-free number a ring. Instantly I was connected to a rather amicable person on the other end who patiently answered all of my questions and got me quite excited to purchase the program. When I discovered that the system cost far more than I'd have any time soon, my head dropped in disappointment. When informed that I could not pay, credit card or otherwise, the person on the other side went from amicable to abrupt. Well, at least I think hanging up on someone instead of ending a call properly would be considered abrupt.

My age is only 17, so I don't have a credit card or any such method of paying such a magnificent (hopefully well-deserved) price of $199-245 for the course.

I have, however, read reviews at Amazon.com about the book alone. That piece of work costs a mere $14.95, which is well within my price range. Being that there is no way to acquire the entire course and harness all of its benefits, could someone tell me--seriously--if the book has a good chance of success for me?

I realize I'm just another skeptic, and that the success rate is altered in every situation, but if I could get an honest set of responses that might sway me toward the book, maybe I could be a part of the photoreading society after all. If the book alone is really not worth it, though, please tell me so. I don't want to waste what little money I do have.

Thanks.
