I just got back from the PR seminar a couple weeks ago, and lately I've been using super reading, skittering, and rapid reading as my main forms of activation. I find that when I'm rapid reading, it's like I'm subvocalizing, but more like I'm remembering hearing the words spoken.

Is this what activation feels like? Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I know exactly what you mean. I've been told that you'll eventually become a better "sight reader" by just staying w/ PR. Of course, you could try NBG Side A, but I did and it didn't work too well.
