When mind mapping during the last 5 minutes of the 30 minute activation period, is it best to mind map the book from memory (book is closed) or to mind map as one flips through the open book?

Greg that's a great question! I have been wondering the same thing. In addition to your question, I have one more.
When pulling "Trigger Words" when do you write them on paper:
a)From memory, after surveying the material.
b)As you are surveying the material.
c)After surverying, you go through the material, and write down the trigger words as they appear.
c) none of the above.

Dana says that you can mind map while activating or after activating. The former exercises your brain more, but he prefers the latter.
Trigger words you only write down when you are just starting with PhotoReading. Any of those three will work.

Thanks Bubbles for posting a response so quickly. I will do what you suggested.

I really like this program; because you can customize it to your own situation. Additionally you can learn certain basic ideas, and play with them as you apply them to your life. This is great!!

Here is a clarification of my question and the reply that was provided by Dana by e-mail. Thanks again Dana for all the assistance that you have provided by all the various means available (phone, e-mail, this database, etc...)

Question clarification:
I mind map for 5 minutes immediately after 20 minutes of activation (super reading and dipping). My question is this: which way is better to mind map, with the book open writing things on the mind map as I leaf through the pages of the book, or close the book and mind map from memory?

Dana's response:
The better way is from memory, but both ways are alright.

Thanks all for your responses.

Gregory
