Hello Bran, Allow me to offer one mans view on your questions,

PR reading process vs regular Reading:
Its my understanding that while learning the PR process itself, it is true that you could very well spend as much time PR as you would reading. The advertised catch I have found in PR (PhotoReading) is that you can learn, almost instantly, how to read 3x faster. That's what the course itself appears to Ultimately offer to its clients. They use Pete as an Extreme example in hopes to stir up the possibilities to get you or I involved. I however have not seen any Guarantee that we will get to that level. It would be like selling a painting course and show Leo' work as the example of what you can do with it. I will ultimately match Pete's ability with PR, as soon as I have spent 15 years doing it. This is because I choose it for myself.

Activation:
I Activate sections at a time. The time it takes to go through a Chapter is around 15,000 words per minute if you SuperRead and Dip. (I use this as my primary method) That is still Lightning fast in comparison, for me at least. I was a LAME reader. It would take me SO long to go through a book and tech manual. I had nothing to loss in going through the course. 3x speed in reading would be worth it to me. I have found that at this point, my reading is 5x from where it was when I started. As I use the process it gets faster and faster. That is an important point to remember. Any base skill (a skill which is used to derive other skills from) require a level of development. (personal view) PR and Direct Learning are both base skills. I would lump them in with learning how to walk, speak, write and read. I had to learn how to walk well and effortlessly before I could learn how to ride a bike. I took the lessons it took "learn" how to walk and applied that learning process to riding a bike. (make sense?) Same with the PR process. I don't think LearningStrageties should Guarantee Spontaneous Activation unless they can actually guarantee that. This however does not mean you are unable to obtain that skill. They have opened the visibility to the options, it becomes up to each of us to pursue that on our own. In that, they have offered a great gift with shining a light on DirectLearning and Spontaneous Activation. They skipped mentioning them still have stayed within their "Guarantee"

PR Process:
The PR process can be used for technical and enjoyment. The material covers suggestions on how to approach each. I have played a little with "fun reading" (which is a new concept to me) and allot more on technical reading (which I find fun).

Mental Imprint:
Its my understanding that the human brain stores every moment of one's life. To me, learning as taught in schools, is a myth. Learning is not about putting the information in your mind, but retrieving that information. Exposure to information is the process of data absorption. Retrieval is the essence of learning. If you can learn how to store information in your mind in such a way so that you have willful access to information as you desire, then you have truly learned that information. PR is a path that you and I can follow to develop this base skill. Its my belief that unless the mind falls victim to decease, all the information from cradle to grave will be represented within the brain by some form of neurological pathway. With that, one will always have that information available.

Again, I am a fellow traveler with you, take what I have to say as one man's understanding and judge for yourself. I would like to hear others views on this as well,

Success to you Bran,

BlkWolf
