Hey there Tyrone,

That was the impression I was left with when I heard the commercials. It's kind of sad that advertising these days have to offer instant results with no effort to get anyone's attention. I was very skeptical when I started to investigate the PR process. I spend days reading this forum trying to understand what was involved. It became pretty clear that you are not taught total recall with the flip of a switch.

I have not seen any TV-commercials about PR, I have however heard it on the radio. What I noticed is that the only thing they guarantee is that you will 3x your reading speed. They do however use Pete as the example to prove the process. So, did they technically lie? Not that I heard. What they did do was neglect to make sure the listener knew that Pete has been doing this for years and have developed the skills it takes to perform as he does. (* BlkWolf waves to Pete, I know your watching )

I don't claim to know the corporate structure of Learning Stragities. I am just another client of its services. Offering instant anything by corporate America to me is a further propagation of the Sesame Street generation. Jump on the lose 10 pounds in 2 days diet, to further exploit the discontent of the American (now world) population. Advertising 101: develop discontent of any kind and then offer your "feel good solution".

Fact is, any skill you have that is worth having will take Energy and Time. The more Engery-Time (Kung Fu) you spend, the better you will become. Trick is developing the base skills so that you can apply them to greater skills. PR to me is one of the base skills. It is a path way to teach the mind how to communicate clearer within itself. This lesson is taught through applying the PR process. This is part of Learning Stragities
bread and butter. Sad to think that PR could not be GNU and offered to the world, but fact is, it takes $$ to survive. It has taken $$ by these same investors to get the word out to you and I. To me, its like spending $$ to learn how to read when the language we speak should be free to all who want it. Internet and global communications that we have today is made possible by the pursuit of that $$. Its because of that, I can sit here in my living room and communicate ideas to a group interested in a common idea. Without this economic growth which drives the technology, chances are very good that you nor I would even know of the PR process. Yes, in today's world $$ is the Yin (negative), while knowledge is the Yang (positive). What can you do?

I have spent my time here helping those to learn the process not because of $$. I do so because I would like to offer a balance in what little way I can. I believe that someone can learn the process by the book and this forum. I am not out to damage corporate profit margins, I am only interested in helping those learn that don't have the $$ to do so. Those that have the green will spend it on the course, but those that don't
should have the chance to learn and step outside of the limits they are in and grow beyond their own foreseeable means. If someone is going to give the effort it takes to learn, then I am all for being there to help them in whatever way possible. (all within the legal means of course). The
greater honor then being known as a Master, is being known as a Teacher. Such is the way of the wolf.

I have not see anything to indicate that Learning Stragites has a problem with that. If they did, they would have banned me from this forum already.

How realistic is that? To me, its highly unrealistic and in ways deceptive. How do you stop the beast of advertising as a whole? You do it by teaching about it, one at a time. Through unrealistic expectations Learning Stragities runs the risk of having a bad reputation. That is the gamble they take to drive up the profit margin. So be it. They do offer their $$ back if you are not satisfied. But behind all of that, I have seen several
small things to show that there is more then $$ in this pursuit.

If you made it this far, thx and, get a life , don't you have anything better to do then read ramblings? Ice breaker, had to be done.

Best to you all,

BlkWolf
