From what it sounds like to me, you are right on course. One thing to realize is that this is a new skill you are developing. I am about a month into PR (but I'm a slow learner). I can get around 1/2 the questions right. Allow me to walk through the questions:

PhotoFocus:
If the page is fuzzy and your mind is in the state of relaxed alertness, you are on target.
Blip Page:

Belief:
This is the tricky part. (for me it has been) I have accepted within myself the fact that PR itself requires developing base skills. This would be like learning to ride a bike, or learning how to write my abc's.
Back when I was a child, the hardest thing I ever did (at that point in my life) was to write the alphabet. In class I saw others who did it easily and others who had a struggle like myself. I believed it was doable because I saw the ability being demonstrated by the other students. Over time, my ability developed from the energy and time I gave the act of writing. I can write (just not spell) today because I gave it the time and energy it took to get here.
PR (PhotoReading) is the same. There is no voodoo in PR. If you can pick up a book and whip out the right answers in such a short time without having developed the skill thus far, you are one of the most well developed minds of our time. If not, then we share a kinship.
What I struggle with when trying the Recall Game: I try for the answer. After a minute of nothing, I try. This is the traits I struggle within myself because this is why I get the wrong answers.
Ever heard of "self fulfilled prophecies"?: Someone who tells themselves "I'm going to get sick, I just know it", will. The same holds true with the PR process. Belief in success, is its own key.
Activation: Make sure you have an understanding of the process. There are 5 steps and each hold a specific purpose. Review these 5 steps. The idea is to read Macro to Micro, (Big picture to small picture).
