Remote Viewing is a fad.
Brian,

I think the Silva people have a better setup for intuition.

Psychics have been remote viewing forever.

After PhRing, i found myself going on a binge of intuition. I've tried to PhR everything i can on this topic. I'm getting saturated at this point though.

Interesting read, Brian!

I'm surprised that no one has asked me the question of questions... namely, what results am I experiencing from the paraliminal sessions! Signman, you're still doing this, right? What have you noticed?

Brian,
Where do I begin? Before I started listening my inner voice was perpetually under the influence of 5 triple shot venti latte's. Now silence seems to rule supreme.

My memory is much more responsive almost to a fault. I saw a guy taking off like a bat outta hell on a Kawasaki 600 Ninja last Sunday and thought about the one I use to have years ago. This is hard to describe, but it seemed like my memory was offering more than I asked for. (Any of you get these flashes?) More information about that bike was readily available than I had asked for. I did all my own tune ups and maintenance on that bike and while I was remembering running my bike up to 13,000 RPM on a New Mexico stretch of I-10 I had flashes of every nut, bolt and screw on it. I could recall every fastener there was to take off the damn cowling to change the oil filter. Even when I had the bike it seemed that just when I thought it was ready to pop off, I had missed one or two fasteners. This is just one instance; there have been many since I started to listen to the tapes.

At work I am quoting the part numbers instead of part names. I've heard the numbers hundreds of times, but honestly, I don't care for my line of work enough to remember the numbers (always seemed like a lifer thing to do). Now they just come to me. So I would have to say there has been an improvement

I've listened to the memory and genius tapes 2 or 3 times (in the few weeks I have had them) while awake, probably 100+ times while asleep. So I would have to attribute some of it to sleep-learning.

Creativity is way up. When I was much younger I could visualize anything with absolute clarity. This ability waned as I got older, giving away to inner verbalizing my ideas while having to physically look at the problem. It seems that I am getting back some of that ability.

My job, if you haven't guessed already, is in the sign trade. I service electrical and electronic signs. Today I went to do some warranty work on a sign that our company installed a month ago. The sign was a channel letter design (each letter is an individual sign, you have all seen them in the malls). The problem was a broken neon tube in the letter "B" so I removed it, put in a jumper wire, and brought in the broken unit for repair, no big, so I didn't give it another thought.

I spoke to our installer about the broken unit and he said that the installation was difficult because of how thin the letters are, that they kept wanting to distort as he tightened them to the wall (which put unwanted stress on the neon tubes). I don't do very much installation work so I had to imagine what was happening as he was tightening down the letter. Without trying, I visualized his description and immediately SAW an idea that he had never thought of in his 22 years of sign work. It seemed like such an obvious solution. He immediately went to talk to our manager and trials are beginning next week on another site with the same design.

I haven't been able to do this kind of processing in 10 years folks and am curious what more time with these tapes will bring. I think the biggest obstacle was to get my inner voice to shut the hell up!

Unsought positive side affects have been reduced stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue. So I am sold on LSCs method.
Unsought negative side affects have been writing long ass testimonials like this one

I have definitely been in some kind of flow state and am thoroughly diggin it! However, I am not quite ready to give up spellchecker or my calculator yet.

And Brian, in the past when I have offered creative insights to others (like the one above) they typically responded by calling me a genius. I never took it seriously since the ideas seemed like the most obvious solutions. But you would be surprised at what is not obvious to others! From what little I know about Einstein, E=mc2 was a stroke of creative insight to him, genius to everyone else. I don’t think he was ever comfortable with that term when it was used to describe him. I couldn’t blame him. I have been called a genius for many ideas I have had in the past and every time I felt like a fat ugly woman that had just been told I was pretty.

I have more questions for you on the brain wave generator but will ask them later since I am now late for my night class. Does LSC have an inner chronometer tape?

Jeff

Well I'm back and want to apologize for the implied vulgarity. Guess I haven't lost my sailors tongue yet.

Brian,
Have you used Cool Edit 2000 to make brain wave sessions? I am only asking because I have a hacked copy that has a tone generator with a few built in. It also seems to have greater controls for creating new presets but it doesn't support .bwg files and after a quick glance I cannot see how to make L/R channels different. I'm new to this type of audio editing. Just curious.

Also, I noticed in the BW Generator presets that binaural beat frequency. Is this setting for differentiating the L/R channel frequencies or is that done with the Audible Pitch control by enabling the “set L/R separately”? Their help file doesn’t seem to be greatly helpful. There is a piece of this puzzle I am not seeing. Any ideas?

I also didn’t see a free copy other than the demo. Is that what you are using?
Thanks in advance.

Also you had said that you have only gained a slight improvement in memory. The effects I had mentioned in my earlier post did go largely unnoticed until Sunday when I started thinking about all the little details that I had recalled when I thought about my old bike. That’s when I started thinking about the changes in my recall ability. If I hadn’t caught that one it still may have gone unnoticed. It’s amazing what can be taken for granted. The first time I listened to the tape a fanciful thought ran across my mind, “photographic recall, here I come!” Of course I didn’t really expect this, no, really I didn’t. But I was hoping for something dramatic. And after a few weeks of thinking maybe it wasn’t helping I saw the subtleties and am very enthusiastic about them now(as you can see by my endless babbling). Realizing this made me think once again that you must learn to crawl before you can walk, a pearl of wisdom that I frequently ignore. I still forget where I put my keys, to grab my wallet, and stuff like that. But at least with my keys I can find them quicker now Don’t be disappointed.

As for photographic memory I say you can keep it. The only person I have met in my 32 years that had it was a Navy recruit that I went to boot camp with. We would let him read a page out of the newspaper and he could recite it word for word. Even days later he could recall the info perfectly but couldn’t tell us what it meant. Maybe he was a unique case, maybe not. It just didn’t seem like a fair trade to me.

Later

What I wouldn't give for 'on demand' access to a hypnogogic state. That would mean instant geniushood. On demand geniushood--for anyone! Think of it!!!

I feel as if I am approaching that state, but I am beginning to doubt if it has anything to do with the paraliminals... Allow me to explain:

Lately, I've made some breakthrough distinctions regarding sleep. There seems to be some sort of see-saw going on between delta and theta sleep states. By getting enormous amounts of delta sleep through the Brainwave Generator meditations, I think that I am creating an imbalance. The see-saw is heavily weighted on the Delta side. The need for Delta is satiated...(I've been getting so much delta, it's coming out of my ears... or into my ears, rather) but what of the need for theta? I think that I am repressing the theta half of sleep!!! We need both. If we miss out on one type of sleep, the other type of sleep will find a way to express itself--ie, you'll feel damn tired, you'll start to hallucinate, life takes on a dreamlike quality. And, when you do finally hit the sack, the type of sleep you most need will hit you full force!

You know what else? I think that this may have been the key to Edison's genius. He was else a moron. Get this, you may know that he regarded sleep as an evolutionary remnant--aka a waste of time. No need to hide in caves anymore so we won't trip over rocks, etc. Right, so, at his own admittance, he got four hours of sleep a day. BUT, he took MAJOR naps. Whenever he got stumped in his lab, he'd go for a little 'lie down'. I propose that my situation is almost directly analagous to his!!!

With just four hours of sleep, he must have been heavily delta weighted/satiated. When he went to lie down, he therefore must have entered an instant hypnogogic state of Omniscience. PURE THETA, man. All true geniuses are visual thinkers--theta is pure visual!!! My contention is that it was Edison's depriving himself of theta sleep that led his naps to be so theta weighted--instant access to the infinite creativity and insight of the subconscious--thus leading to a gazillion original patents and... quite fittingly, the light bulb

*deep breath*

Right,

Have you used Cool Edit 2000 to make brain wave sessions? Also, I noticed in the BW Generator presets the binaural beat frequency. Is this setting for differentiating the L/R channel frequencies?

The bwgen is the epitome of ease. It separates the channels automatically, as does Cool Edit 2000. Cool Edit is much more difficult to use--especially for lengthy, more involved sessions. Though, some say the waves are higher quality--whatever the hell that means! BWGEN is just a point and a click--best to stick with that!

I also didn’t see a free copy other than the demo. Is that what you are using?

The demo has full functionality other than the ability to import the more divergent presets--presets for OBE's, lucid dreams, sleep reduction, chakra opening, virtual cocaine and all sorts of crazy stuff. If you are looking for a crack, it's out there, but it will take you hours to match up the right crack with the right version.

I once spent 12 days w/o sleeping. I was so peaceful that i just did not sleep. I did everything just the same w/ regard to eating.

I also saw the world differently, that is, from an entirely different perpective.

It was this experience that led me to thinking about the brain & then on to CRI w/ holosync technology.

I know that that experience, by the 12th day, was beginning to concern me.

12 DAYS!!! that's astounding!
Why do you think that was?
You must have been meditating often? --how often and what kind?
Please tell me more! What affects did you notice as time passed? I am hungry for knowledge!

Please please please, tell me ANYTHING you can think of that may have allowed this to happen! This is amazing!

I feel as if I am at a breakthrough point in terms of my understanding of sleep. I've been making connections up the wazoo. I think that I may have found the key to existing without sleep and yet still functioning at 100% in terms of creativity, focus, and health. ANY info that you could relate regarding your experience would be GREATLY appreciated.

SINCERELY,
Brian

Brian,
I really can't tell you much about it b/c i really didn't do anything at all. It had happened once before for 4 days. In both cases, i did nothing at all. I was not even looking for such an experience.

It's a long story & this is not the DF for it. For me the most preplexing part of the whole experience was that i came away from it w/ a much deeper understanding of how attached we are to the human condition. It was kind of lonely. But, i was not thinking about accelerated learning at that time. The other thing is that i experienced a kind of love that goes against everything we basically know.

So, i'm not looking for that experience again in my life. I'm willing to learn from it. But, at this time, i'm unaware of what benefits it could ever bring me.

Thanks for the info Brian,
I look for cracks to $200+ programs. Forty bucks is one less dinner at the Red Robin
I played with both programs and BWG is definitely easier. Although there seem to be some embedded tones that I can hear when BWG drops below 3hz. Probably my sound card.

Edison also believed the world would be powered by direct current even after it caused hundreds of fires in NYC. Even after Tesla tried to dissuade him. The man wasn't a genius; he was just persistent and very stubborn. Tesla was genius; he was an incredible visual thinker. He could visualize an AC motor running solely in his mind and spot problems and improvements before he ever built the actual unit. This ability eluded Edison, which was more of a "trial and error" kind of inventor. But Tesla too had some strange sleeping patterns if my memory serves. The creative process is an opiate that can lead to sleep disorders. Both of these great men have proven that I think. They were both obsessed. Thier passions consumed them. I agree that the "disorders" could of actually aided in creativity. Try not to burn yourself out on this Didn't DaVinci also take only naps?

Have a good weekend everyone.
Jeff
