Hey everybody,

First off, from what I have read, everybody here is with good hearts and intentions. It is great to find a place where everybody will help eachother especially with a topic/skill as astonishing as PhotoReading!

SITUATION:
Now, on to my questions/problems (not sure what they are:confused . I am 18 years of age and just managed to graduate high school with excellent grades, 4.33 GPA . I am going away to college in the fall and will be majoring in Computer Science/Secondary Education with a minor in Mathematics and have been hoping to bring the skill of PR with me. I have been studying speed reading and photoreading for a while now and have purchased the Personal Learning Course as well as a good number of speed reading books as well. I know I will be embarking on a journey that will leave me with endless piles of reading material, especially books when I go to college.

PROBLEM/QUESTION:
I am very open-minded about discoveries and things such as PR. I am positive that it is possible (for others). But, I keep fealing like only I am not able to do it . I need visual assurance that it is possible for me, as well as everybody else. Therefore, I ordered the free video of the news broadcast that was done on speed reading thinking it might help. I feel that it did a little. But, for some reason I still feel like something isn't right within myself about the whole PR system.

COMMENTS/QUESTIONS:
After spending time doing all of the steps wouldn't it take just as long as it would to speed read a book? Prepare = 5 mins., Preview = 10 mins., PR = 5 mins., Activate = 20 mins. (give or take), Rapid Read = 10 mins.

Can anybody help me with this? As you can see, I am very hard to convince and over analyze everything instead of just letting go and trying it for fun.

Maybe I need psychological help?
Better yet, maybe Learning Strategies Corp. should pull me in and take me under their wing (which would be perfect) or run tests on me or something. I would go to a seminar but I don't have any money after college fees and I also live in Philadelphia, PA where there are not any seminars.

I could just be trying too hard....
It drives me crazy just thinking about how much I want to learn PR! I have almost 100 books in my bedroom that I would love to be able to read but can't get too or just don't have the patience.
HELP!!!!!!

I hope somebody from Learning Strategies replies to this message.....

Thanks,
Randy
