I have noticed that there are a lot of people, most of them aren't on this DF, who would like to learn to photoread, but don't have any money. This means there is no way for them to learn this system. I have learned it, but I can't lend my copy of the book out to everybody who wants to learn the system. I plan on ordering the PLC as soon as I get enough money. I'm sure others who have learned from the book are probably thinking about doing the same thing. Since most of the people who have learned the system from the book have either already purchased the PLC, or are going to, why not make the book available for free online? Maybe in PDF format? I realize that you have to make money, but you would still be making a considerable amount of money just by selling the PLC. And that's not taking into consideration all the extra money you're getting from other courses you offer. And with a system as incredible as PhotoReading, why not give everybody the chance to learn it and improve their lives? And once they learn the system from the book, you can pretty much guarantee that at least 80% of them will purchase the PLC. Just a suggestion for you.

I just realized that there are some people reading this who are going to post "if they don't have the money for the book, how are they going to purchase the PLC?" Simple. Once they realize how awesome the system is, they'll do whatever they have to in order to get the PLC. They just need enough assurance that their money is going to be invested wisely. They won't just listen to us say "learn it. Just trust me." They need more information on it. Information in the form of the book.

We've talked about it regularly, but we would be giving up a heck of a lot of revenue. Plus, around 100 people and their families rely on PhotoReading for the bulk of their income, so we do not take the decision lightly.

The good news is that most any American library will order the book. It just takes one call. And, if the library can't afford it, they can call us for special consideration.

I purchased a number of copies & put them in libraries around my area. In time it will become more widely known.

My guess is that of all the people who say they'd love to learn it but don't have the money for a book ($17), probably 99% of them would just not have enuff time to do what it takes if the book was given to them.

In all honesty, not having $$$ has never stopped people from doing what they really want to do in life. It is the fastest & easiest thing to complain about though. As Tom Hanks said: Lady, no matter where you are on the pile, life is just one thing after another.

Learning Strategies stuff is really cheap, dirt cheap.

I've already purchased the book myself, but just an idea: Perhaps LSC can offer a PDF version for downloading from their website at a fraction of the price of the book. The cost of production may be low enough to give LSC a reasonable profit.

At a lower price more people will be willing to try out photoreading and they will have instant access to the material. But there will also be the risk of the PDF file being distributed around.
