Hello Everyone,
Some people have written in lately about wanting to convert text files or html files into PDF so that they can read them in more of a book-like format. However, to do this, you would have to spend over USD$200 to buy a full copy of Adobe Acrobat.
I would like to let you all know that there is a shareware solution [donation only]to this problem. It is called the yBook reader. Say you have a text file on your computer that you cannot get a blip page with; just load it into the yBook reader and it will look EXACTLY like a paperback book, with all the margins and a separator line down the middle, so that you get the blip page effect. Works the same for those large HTML files as well. I am not associated with this software or its creation in any way; I just happened to find it on a website and wanted to let you all know about it too. It works great. Just go to www.spacejock.com and look for yBook reader.

I have seen copies of Acrobat at University Bookstores for about $100 - Academically priced software. As far as I know it is the ssame as the retail software, except the box has a sticker that says "Academic" on it. Although it's only meant for students/staff/faculty of a educational institution, all you need to do is say you're buying it for your son or daughter and mention that he/she is starting school in the fall/spring... anyway, you get the picture. Most of the time they don't even check to see if you're a student/staff/faculty...

This guy has a great idea for photoreading online stuff - use a steroegram for the backgroud,you know them 3d pictures where you have to look past the page, well gee that sounds like photofocus to me
