Have you ever heard of those books called Magic Eye? It is where you focus in a way that you see a 3D image. if you can get one of those you can practice with photofocus. If you look "past the book" as if you had x-ray vision, and if you do it right, an image will appear. This is a way to assure yourself if you are doing it right. Then you can, after you get that down, use that same un-focusing technique and apply it to photoreading. WARNING: you shouldnt cross your eyes. I heard that wasnt good for your eyes. In magic eye books, the images tend to appear inverted when you do it wrong. With the correct technique, the images pop out and are easier to see. With the incorrect (cross-eyed) technique, they tend to go into the page, like a hole.
