IMO it's ambiguous to convert the comprehension level you get from PR into a grade for an exam. You may get 70% comprehension by PRing the course materials, but remember that only 4-11% of the text you read in a book is relevant or important (PR Book, pg 65). Therefore it is highly likely that you will absorb the majority of what you need to learn anyway. What you get out of a book depends on what you're looking to get out of it.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, anybody, but if you need to revise a whole course for an exam, the bits you don't quite understand or know about will effectively stand out while attempting to activate the information. You would then make a note of what you don't understand and go over it again until you do know it.
This is kind of like a "blind leading the blind" situation here, as I've yet to have any success with the system. I've got the book, but I really haven't had any time at all to attempt to apply the principles. I've ordered the course which should hopefully be with me in a few days (with any luck!), and I fully intend to get down to it within the next month - even to the point of taking a week off work to give myself time.
