brian, though I am by no means an expert, nor a highly informed profession, like gregory, I can see where your diet might lead to problems. Though what you are eating is far healthier than what most eat, and perhaps is the ideal diet for some individual out there, you might still want to consider the personal factor. You are a perticular person that has perticular needs, and it is very possible you are not the same, mentally, chemically and physically as the proponents of this perticular program. Some consider body type the key to a perfect diet, or others blood type. "Right for your Type" by Peter J. D'Adamo deals with blood types, and then there is "Dr. Abravanel's Body Type Diet and Lifetime Nutrition Plan" by Elliot D. Abravanel, which I personally can not vouch for, but certainly might help.

And about static contraction training, I picked up the book by Peter Sisco and John R. Little, saw the possiblies, but I was very much in doubt as to the scientific studies that were not very scientific. But I held faith, and tried it out. I very quickly discovered that doing these exercises by oneself becomes very dangerous very fast. And then there was the points brought up by reviewers at amazon.com that struck true. What about joint integrity? If you are benching twice as much as you normally would on a 8-12 rep set, and just holding it till you simply can't hold it anymore, something is bound to go wrong eventually. And I don't mean to say that this system is faulty, obviously you've received some benefit from this program, but I was/am forced to be a little leary at this training method. Have you had any difficulties? Stiff joints? Near disasters? Or do you have a good training partner? Any program that I could use to get more with less effort, I'm for. And thus the greatness of LS.

NOTE: I am not berating your system of healthy living. By no strech of the imagination. I'm quite certain your sytem is a whole lot better than mine. i.e., I have no system....
