It's easy to learn faster than the teacher can teach. Pr the whole book and then pr and superread your chapter every day and during the day do the exercises. Then at night pr your own notes and pr and superread everything you've learned up to where you are now, tell your mind to sort and remember this, then pr and superread what you'll do tomorrow and tell your mind to get this ready for you. All day long talk to yourself in spanish and start thinking in spanish too. The normal way of learning it is in 3 steps- and that is just plain stupid. They say "sugar" then that's "azukar" (or whatever) so you see sugar, say sugar then say the spanish word. Duuuuuh. When we learned English we saw something and just had one word to learn and it worked fine so do it that way. See the sweet powder and think and say "azukar." Don't even say sugar, it will totally screw you up. Also their sentences are backwards- they all talk like YODA. "restless is he" "no patience you have" so if you remember Yoda you'll be able to put the sentences together. I don't know if Pring a Spanish/english dictionary will help, can't hurt but I don't have one. After that it's all pure memory, practice and use. If you don't use it you'll forget it.
