---Remember when you were a teenager?---

yeah.... good times, good times. A lot like yesterday... and the day before. And now that you mention it, a bit like tomorrow. And the next two and a half years.

Which makes me think, how is Yale? Good school, or overrated? I have to start thinking about these things, or so I'm told.

Are you suggesting I conserve my "youthful energies" and this will improve my focus elsewhere? I don't know the technicality of it all, but I do know that the adrenal gland is drained of a hormone, DHEA, with the burning of testosterone, involving with high energy activities, and release of sexual energy. I just went to my natural health doctor a couple of weeks ago and he found my adrenals messing up my whole system, so to pump them up, I'm taking GinYam, which naturally has DHEA. I've just been exhausted lately (past six months) and after sleep, anywhere from 5 to 14 hours, I still feel drained. I have trouble getting out of bed in the mornings, I think I hit the snooze button at least half a dozen times. I'm looking forward to the Qigong tapes which I will be ordered after I get back from Christmas with the relatives. I've tried kundalini yoga and many different meditations from my books over the past four years, but nothing that has been all that soothing. I think I might have to try out the bwgen sometime to see what you've been raving about all this time.

Now, talking about this third eye, it is one of the chakra point, the Ajna. Wait, I'm reading from Dr. John Mumford's "A Chakra & Kundalini Workbook," and he's talking about something I think you would find interesting. "Deep dreamless sleep: Often accompanied by snoring. It is possible to retain consciousness in this state--Yoga refers to it as 'Turiya.' (p.164)" I wonder what brain wave frequency is induced in this state? Is this your delta meditation? He's says there are four levels of consciousness, "1. waking consciousness 2. dreaming consciousness 3. Dreamless sleep 4. Turiya (conscious dreamless sleep?) (p.173)" Interesting. Well, back to the third eye. I never have felt such a thing, if ever I have pressure in my head, it more often than not is the uncomfortable, throbbing headache variety. Nothing pleasurable, nothing that makes me feel in a heightened state of consciousness. I guess I'll have to try the amygdala exercises.

---My third eye DIES; it actually fizzles out after a good night’s sleep.---

So without the benefit of your delta meditation, how do I go about starving my brain of theata waves while getting my dose of delta and not end up hallucinating during school?( as much fun as that is. )

Well, I've got an hour's worth of Latin to do. It's times like this I wish I really had all that LS taught mastered. But I'm too busy doing Latin.
