I've just PhotoRead my first book, Rich-Dad / Poor-Dad. I actually PR it a few times and Super Read it a couple of times then did some skittering. Now I have an interesting thing that is happening. I had my wife read selected passages to me from the book and I can tell her what page they are on i.e. left or right and what paragraph she is reading from with about 80% accuracy. The problem is when she was reading some of the paragraphs it was like I had never read what she was reading before although I could tell her where it was on the page.

So obviously the information is getting in my head but I think I may need practice getting it out. Anyone else have a similar experience?

That's the very first book I photoread and I got mixed results because I hated the book, hehe! 200 pages to tell me something that was beat over everyone's head in the 80's. I'll tell you, anger interferes with results.

My initial results are always feelings, like when I read that book I got jumpy and couldn't concentrate. You are remembering things in positions, more photographically.

I've read every book by that author of Rich dad/Poor Dad (thank you PR!) and I think I hate the guy. He's "modeling" RObert Allen just a little too good and it's really too bad that that real estate stuff doesn't work anymore. I know 5 people that DO it and it's a full time job just as bad as any other. They're constantly asking me to work for them and I'm like "Nope, I put my 40hours in, the bills are paid and I'm gonna relax." I know so many people that went thru the same thing, including my father. His ideas about setting up a business and and Nevada Corp and paying expenses before taxes are fine but WHO DOESN'T KNOW THAT? Most so called "tax advantages" aren't worth the extra money you get from them. Most of them are like driving across town to pay a bill when you could mail it. One way you just pay and it's over and the next way SURE you save here but you pay in other ways- time and gas. Most of them backfire.

I'm ranting.

bdwells,

Thanks for your post.

Your next step is to connect your conscious mind with where all the patterns of text have been imprinted in your "other-than-conscious" mind. Here's how to master the basics of "Activation":

-find 3-5 books you want to read, on topics your interested, but haven't read yet.

-have them be non-fiction, around 100-300 pages, and not too technical.

-work with one book at a time.

-Prepare/Preview/PhotoRead, and wait at least a half hour before activating.

-craft several Mind Probing questions with the list of key words and phrases you wrote down during your 8-minute Preview.

-then, you can begin SuperReading & Dipping in multiple 30-minute sessions.

-begin each Activation session with several Mind Probing questions.

-add a set of branches on your Mind Map from each Activation session.

-when you've gotten the structure of the whole book, then you can shift into 30-minute sessions of Rapid Reading to get all the specific detail you want. Watch for the point where it all "gels" and you have full comprehension. It can happen anytime during Activation.

Hope this helps!

sound like you have no ambition to be rich and that ok but don't make like its not worth it to work for yourself! hell, if the company you work for didn't decide to start his own you wouldn't be there. bottom line the rich do things the "common" man is too afraid to do...thats why they are rich! Ex: Donald Trump!
