Not a huge, explosive success, but a small victory for sure!
I've been photoreading for about two weeks now. Yesterday I photoread a 200 page book on the French Revolution (Family Romance of the French Revolution by Lynn Hunt). I had a class discussion on it later that night. I only spent about 1.5 hours on the book but was able to be very involved in the discussion.
At one point I was asked a question about the book and didn't know the answer off-hand. While I was trying to figure out the answer, I absent-mindedly flipped to the exact page that I needed!
While I am no expert yet, this will definitely motivate me to use the system more. I've only used it for two weeks, so this is a big breakthru for me. I think I can definitely credit my laissez-faire attitude about the system. If it works, it works, if it doesn't, no skin off my back.
