Well, I just finished my Latin exam today. Ouch, that was bad. I was memorizing vocabulary all yesterday, and at night I listened to memory supercharger and photoread my latin book. And I wasn't nervous taking the test, I just plain, flat out did not know what the answers were. I had thought I did, and I reached for them, but nothing.... very disappointing. This might wreck my straight A streak for this year. It didn't help that my teacher put some information that never had been explained to us, and she never told us we needed to know. But hey, some people knew it, so hell, I guess everyone should have. Riiiiiiiiiiight.
Arg, I studied for so long, I can not believe I did that bad. This really does it for me. Traditional studying methods are throughly useless. Any one got suggestions for working through all the memorization in Latin? Or any other language for that matter.

OK, in Barbara Ann Brennan's "Hands of Light," the forehead center chakra has to do with our ability to visualize and comprehend concepts. That was kind of useless. Back to John Mumford's "A Chakra & Kundalini Workbook." 
"The Sanskrit word 'Ajna' means 'command center,' that place where we worship with our consciousness the Guru-Atman, or highest self, and receive instruction. The element asscociated with Ajna is Manas, or 'mind-stuff,' the very energy of consciousness. The Bija mantra is the 'lost word' OM, and the yantra symbolizing Ajna is a winged globe, and emblem of the imagination which can 'fly' anywhere, beyond limitations of space and time. (p. 161)"
Not that much more background on it, just exercises to work on. He did mention that it is better to meditate on the head chakras after opening up the lower chakras first.
