The impression that I get is that you have to photoread 5 to 10 books a day for several weeks and do the 5 steps for each book. Let all 5 steps become second nature to you. In a few weeks your seeminingly stubborn mind will begin to have the belief that it read this book before when you just photoread it yesterday or 20 minutes ago. It will seem familar to you like you read the whole book recently. The mind has to be trained and that can take time. Doing the 5 steps over and over will make it very familar to you. Remember the PhotoReading course promises that you can get through a book 3 times faster than a normal person; maybe in a year you will be 10 times faster than a normal person and in several years you will be like Paul Scheele and Pete Bissonette.
I don't read much, so when I began speed reading, it took a year to go from 300 wpm to 700 wpm. If I had practiced on 5 to 10 books a day then that one year could have been reduced to a few weeks. Time and practice is the key. Just for now let the 5 steps become second nature to you. Using the five steps of every speed reading course and the photoreading course, I just studied 119 pages of a textbook in one hour. I think that is great.
