Yes, you will naturally read faster when reading normally. At least, i know that i read faster as a result of PhRing. It may have to do w/ developing periphereal vision. I quickly determine what i want to read out of say the newspaper. I don't bother w/ every word like i used to. I get the gist & then decide if i want more info or not.
But, in addition, if i'm reading a novel (which i don't do very often), i do read faster than i did prior to learning how to PhR.
