Hello Rogin,
I am glad to share what I have discovered about Ginseng. Concerning your question about the dosages of Ginseng, I just follow the dosing guideline on the bottle. Not sure if taking less would still benefit you; I would assume that you would still get some benefit. Ginseng can be expensive, you're right about that. I have made it a spending priority for myself, and find that it is not too much of a monthly expense.
Red ginseng is one of the few different kinds that are available. That is why I take the 'Triple Ginseng' formula from GNC. It has Korean, Siberian, and American Ginsengs all in one standardized formula.
Hope that helps.

GAPMAN, I'VE BEEN USING GINSENG FOR THE PASS THREE DAYS AFTER MEALS. I FEEL VERY SLEEPY AND FUSSY EVERY TIME I USE IT. DID THIS HAPPEN TO YOU THE FIRST DAYS YOU TRIED GINSENG??? I DON'T USE GINKGO BILOBA BECAUSE OF THESE SAME SIDE EFFECTS. IS THIS NORMAL UNTIL YOUR SYSTEM GETS USE TO GINSENG OR WHAT??? DO YOU THINK THAT BECAUSE THIS IS PANAX GINSENG THE DOSSAGE SHOULD BE LESS THAN 200MG?

THANKS!

Ok thanks, I'll try to get that 'Triple Ginseng'. GNC are the acronyms for the firm that produces this formula right?

I'll ask for it at my local shop, I hope that at least their distributor will have it. I've problems finding some types of stuff here, if it's something that people doesn't buy much, they usually don't have it.
