Pete is really REALLY good at it, and was able to do spontaneous activation. Don't expect to be able to do this for several years, if at all.
I remember reading that they are going to pull that exact scene out of the infomercial for that very reason. You can, however, see that when he reads that excersize and eating book that he does go back and super read later.
