i'm writing this under what's obviously an anonymous name, because this is going to sound kind of harsh.

look, maybe it's just me, but i'm starting to get this feeling that some people are asking for help on the boards because they don't really want to put effort into the system. i mean, i've seen way too many posts for awhile asking pretty rudimentary questions that are not only available in the book, but have whole chapters based on it. it was one thing if you're having problems with it, but i'm seeing questions that show people haven't put any effort at all into even reading the book.

i dunno, maybe it's just me.

i'm not saying don't put questions on here, but try searching the boards first, or maybe even looking in the book a little (it counts as activation).

it just makes me feel less inclined to help when i see the same message over and over again, when the question is something pretty easily available in the book.

I think that's a fair observation.

Maybe i'm mistaken, but i was under the impression that there are many more young teenagers trying out PhRing. I have replied only because i thought they were young & impatient.

I keep saying that if you are doing it w/ the book only, i really think it helps to get a friend to study w/. Learning together will definitely make it less confusing.

Formulating clear questions also helps us to answer clearly. I just don't answer general questions anymore. It doesn't work! This is a hopeless comment.

People having problems need to get quiet & write down exactly what it is they are confused about & what they want to know.

Annonaman, I think your absolutely right. I asked a few questions here before I figured out that there were more pages to the forum where my same questions were posted, multiple times. The book and the course make no mention though of the sort of progress you are LIKELY to have and in the TIME you'll likely get it. I think they assume people are going to work at it and get better over time but as you noticed, very few people are doing that. I think that the line of TRUTH in the infomercial was a bit vague though in that they show someone activating something on the spot where in the 7 minute News clip (the free video they give out on this site) the REALITY of the system is alot more clear because it shows the guy doing the WORK to get it to work. The infomercial is 1/2 hour long and not as convincing as that News clip. I think they should trash that current infomercial and make a new one incorporating the News clip because people will see up front that there's more to it than 'looking' and 'instantly knowing' things you read.

i saw that you recommended having the news clip, so i sent away for it, and thought it was much more impressive and truthful than the infomercial.

plus you were right about the guy's facial expressions...they're currently my desktop =)
