I want to start with saying that I was very excited over this Photoreading deal at first. And yesterday I got the Photoreading whole mind system book. Which I have completed allready. The thing is that I'm becoming pessemistic. Trough the whole book you are constantly reminded that you have to belive in order to sucess and I really want it to work so I have belived in it the whole time until now.

I really hope that this course isn't just an another fraud like those pills people get fooled to buy in order to lose wight. Becuse the concept of many of them is that you have to belive in them in order for em to work. Are you people really sure this photoreading is not just an another word for how to get the most important 10% out of a book?

Now when I have read the book(still not started to practise it), it somehow seems like I have been fooled. Becuse when I have to read something extremely fast, what do I do?

1) I prepare (put myself in total focus)
2) I get some idea what the book is about, making an overview where i read subtitles, index etc.
3)When I have done this I ask myself questions that I can figgure out since I have some idea what the subjects of the book is. And then I just dip for the answeres in the book and draw mind maps of it.

I'm a bit lazy and there fore I have had to use this method several times instead of reading the whole book. Some times I fail my test, but most of the times I don't. And I'm talking about history at university with big exams where I only study for 2 days when most study for 2 weeks. It's not that I'm smarter then anyone else it's just that I get those 10% of the content that is most important. I do that without even photoreading.

Comments?

(btw, english is not my native language and you have to excuse me for my bad grammar)

This course is not a fraud, not even close. It is a terrific system.

Please learn 1 step at a time. Do not confuse yourself by trying to do it all right away.

Learn the Prepare step. Then practice the prepare step for a couple weeks. Practice this step for all kinds of things not just for reading. Get very comfortable w/ this step.

Then go on to the next step--Preview. Combine all you now know from Prepare w/ Preview. Practice Preview for a couple weeks combining it w/ the Prepare step.

Play w/ it means just don't put pressure on yourself and on the course. It's a process & this process works. IF you do not follow the process, you'll just not learn it & you'll blame LS & you'll lose an opportunity to become more successful in life.

Please read ckerins post <<<<<<

Main thing is to ask ONLY questions for IMMEDIATE problems. I am here....i want to know about.... But do not ask until you have thought about it, worked on it & practiced it. I say this because if you just ask right off you give up your personal power.

It's not about me thinking I know anything. I just read the book just to get an overiview of it, becuse I don't want to be naive. There are alot of things that you could question though. Like the rapid reading for example. If you have followed all the steps from taking out what the book is about and then you activate by super reading. And then you have to rapid read everything(just by doing all this you should be able to make 30% on a comprehenssion test)? But, yeah I'll give this a real try. I'm very excited about it.
