What part of the brain does intelligence increase? The verbal, mathematic reasoning, spatial, etc.? I'm just curious.

intelligence isnt in what you know.But in how you use what you have.

The important thing is what you're good at, to use it and to develop your weaknesses. Everybody has different strengths in different intelligences, like those you listed - verbal, spatial, etc. I would also guess and say there are an infinite number of ways of dividing intelligence into areas.

Your heading mentions IQ - this is a rather outdated, but still used, method of measuring intelligence. IQ tests mainly test the logical and language intelligences. Howard Gardner has divided intelligences into 8 areas, others are being discovered, and no doubt more will be found in the future. Your question of what area does intelligence increase - as you can see you are having the notion that intelligence is a single entity, it isn't a single entity, that was the old way of seeing things.

The new way of seeing things is hopefully going to allow for all students to have success in their own way, because teaching will involve many different approaches, using as many of the different intelligences as possible.

There are also many ways to define intelligence, but it is important to choose definitions that allow for strengths and weaknesses to be developed. Some people say intelligence is being able to live happily.

I would think that whatever area you choose to work at would be increase. If you continue to work with whatever you already do well then that area will increase. If you choose to apply it to areas where you would like to be stronger then that would increase. If you don't focus on any particular area then you'll probably go with your strengh naturally and that would be the area that gets stronger.

What do you feel is the best way to improve one's verbal skills, in terms of becoming more articulate?

One can be very smart intellectually, and can understand and figure very complex things out. But how can one be able to improve their communications skills using the Genius Code techniques?

I'd say reading is the best tool to help you become more articulate. As well as teaching communication skills in writing they are a demonstation of good and bad communication skills. Feedback from people you talk with would be a good cue too. I remember once I was using a enhanced volcabuary in my talking with family.. they looked at me dumb and said "for goodness sake speak english!" A not so subtle reminder we need to communicate on the level of the listener too.

The genius Code is for developing a creative mind, so it might enhance the creative descriptors in your conversations .

Photoreading.. Pr books on communications skill, NLP, marketing and advertising cover a lot of ground in communication.
