I have a real concern about this method of inquiry. Even if someone was able to Photoread at the level that you would like to achieve and have 75% comprehension right afterwards, what would that prove? I refer you to pg. 15 of the Photoreading book where Pete Bissonette read over 690,000 wpm and had 75% comprehension. Even though he did it right in front of college professors, they didn't believe it. "Seeing is not believing. To shift your paradigm you must believe it before you see it."
I have some questions for you:
Why would you like to learn Photoreading?
What would happen if at the very beginning that you couldn't PR at 10-12,000 per minute but could get through your current reading at 3 times the rate that you do now?
From your posting, I think that even if someone did PR right in front of you, you would not pay their expenses and their time because you would not believe it.
So what if you took your Home Study Course and went through it with an open mind to see if it works for you? LSC back up their product with a money back guarantee which can be extended to 6 months. What if you get stuck in the course? Then that is when you call for coaching or consider attending a live class.
Yes there are individuals that can do what you said. Can I? No, not right now. However, give me a book and one half hour and have us both start reading. I can tell you more about the book then you could using "regular" reading methods. As one addiction counselor told me one time to "trust the process". Can you put aside your disbelief and just try Photoreading? You have NOTHING TO LOSE AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN.
