Unfortuantely for you I live in the western part of the US and am not planning to visit Florida anytime soon. Most of my application of PR has been on textbooks and you can find a description of my techniques in this forum by doing a search. I have not yet "mastered" the system but am working on it in a dilligent manner. I am very satisfied with the system as it has enabled me to process texts in a way that I have never been able to do before learning the system.
If I were you, I would learn the system without counting the cost as this can put pressure on yourself that may inhibit the learning of the system itself. That is why it took me so long to learn PR.
