Allen--that says it all. I feel for that poor guy in med-school. It's a rough road to travel. My best friend is in residency & he also had a rough time in med-school. Sometimes the best help in life is our attitude. In the end, it's all we ever really have. I hope, sincerely hope, he does not take my post as knocking him when he's down.

Strange thing, though, is that we really find out more about ourselves when things are not going right. His post has some real keys to changing his life around.
