My friends and I have seen the PhotoReading Infomercial on TV and have heard the advertisement several times on radio. However, each time we have called the 800 or 888 number that has been "handed out" we have encountered very aggressive and pushy sales guys who seem to have no idea about how the system works. Furthermore, they seem to want to complete the sale as quickly as possible before the customer has a chance to realize what he/she has gotten into.
My friend, with whom I have discussed PhotReading, who happens to be a 1500 words per minute speed reader believes the system is a hoax. Just yesterday he gifted me the $15 Photoreading book by Paul Scheel and said that I was likely to get as much out of the program(which costs $250) as I would from the book especially because PhotoReading claims that it is far more easier to learn than speed reading. For those who have had experiences with both the book and the tape program can you please shed light on this.
Again I am not looking for any Photoreading is awesome...Ra Ra ra kind of affirmations but a logical explanation about how the system really works. In all honesty the people selling Photoreading pitch it in a manner which seems too good to be true I naturally have my doubts because my grandpa told me "that if something seems to be too good to be true it is just that"
I would love to hear from you folks
