A fresh perspective:
My studies on the mind and how it works (prior to any knowledge of PR) have lead me to believe completely that your mind inputs absolutely everything you have ever sensed. Weather it is by sight, sound, touch, taste, or smell... your mind has recorded it forever! Now that is a whole lot of information! To think that we are only supposedly using only 10% of that mass between our ears - wow! Anyway, our mind deals with all this information in many ways. One of the minds favorite ways to deal with information is to store the info in a temp location (like RAM in a PC). Only when you shut down for the night, your mind is at its peak. It shuffles, categorizes and files information and a lot of this can be witnessed through dreams. Even more so apparent in the all to festinating world of lucid dreaming (another very long but awesome subject - Ra, ra, ra - really!!!)
Anyway, that is why the PhotoReading concept appealed to me so much. You do record all you see and all the PhotoReading system does is teach you techniques on how to consciously retrieve the information that was inputted. And as the old saying goes, "practice makes perfect", is what determines your skill or learned speed and ability to "spontaneously activate". We are only human after all. All things worth learning are worth the time and effort and I believe this is one of them. I personally feel God out did himself with the Human brain but I'm afraid we have to relearn how to use it to its intended extents.
I just started this PR stuff and have many similar questions and I am sure they will come for all of us who really want to find out and do not give up. But maybe going at it with this perspective could be helpful to you.
