I can slow read 60 pages in about 50 minutes so for some reason your slow reading rate will increase but I have no idea why. Maybe it's because we aren't repeat reading so much because of what happened during the PR step. I never once stopped to see where I was so I guess it's something you'll stop doing in time. I did notice that at the 1/2 hour mark my mind started having trouble staying "into" the book so it's probably a good idea to listen to the course and read in chunks. Since you "have" to take a break anyway, why not use THAT time to be amazed and not use the time while you're reading.
