I am curious to know if anyone using PR is vision impaired and how that affects their approach/techniques. I have bad vision in one eye but I would still like to apply all of photoreading concepts. The website mentions people with poor vision can still be successful. Any advice/suggestions?

Well, I wear glasses to correct my myopia (slightly worse in one eye, but quite noticable in both), but find it much easier, and more comfortable, to achieve photophocus without them.

I always take them off before I photoread, then just make sure to adjust my distance from the book for clarity. So long as I stay within 45cm of the book, the letters appear crisp, and my eyes are relaxed.

The book mentions people with sight in one eye being able to use the system.

I believe the step to take for getting "PhotoFocus" with the use of one eye was to just imagine an X that connects the corners of the book. This will let the text travel to your subconsious/other-than-counsous mind.
