Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Baroque music.

Hi all. I want to listen to baroque music while photoreading in order to remain in a relaxed state since i find chanting very boring and often put me out of state. additionally baroque music may benefit me in accelerated learning.. but i don't know where to find it. i found it on www.superlearning.com but i don't rely on this site anyone who has experience please tell me.

P.S. i want tape not CD

I listen to Mozart or Beethoven when PRing...It works for me...Baroque's good too, Some Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes probably some Wu-tang clan, after that I settle in for the relaxing sounds of Marilyn Manson or Rob Zombie!!!

I have collected lots of Baroque music. The best out there is done by: Sound Health Series. Terrific production & engineering. It also is geared for accelerated learning. You can purchase the 2 cd set for Thinking & Learning. There's another set for Concentration. Very worthwhile. Stephen Halpern's Accelerated Learning cd is also nice. It keeps you in the alpha bw w/o any hassel.

Relax w/ the Classics is also a group, but i like Sound Health production more.

I like the relaxing sounds of Rob Zombie also! The problem is that I keep bobing my head up and down and sometimes smash my head into the table!

I haven't listened to Rob Zombie since he broke off the band back in the day. I was more of a grunge and punkhead, anyway. I think I heard some of his Hellbilly Deluxe stuff, which was pretty cool. To be honest, I'm much more impressed by his artwork than I am with his music.

I can't listen to any music I really like while PRing because it distracts me. Few exceptions are older stuff, like Sinatra and Tom Jones (yup, you can like Tom Jones and Green Day and Nirvana AT THE SAME TIME). And even then, I have to pick specific Tom Jones tracks, since I usually get into a lot of the other stuff.

I tried to experiment with me recording spanish type guitar music of myself, and realized it was VERY distracting. (Woah, I messed up there...what was I thinking on that lick...geez, am I that slow?)

I find I always go back to looping Daft Punk Band's "Work It". I don't know. The song just makes me happy.

Get all the baroque music you want for free at Kazaa or Morpheus. You can even try napster. Why buy it if you can get it for free.

Giancarlo,that's interesting but how could i know which are 60 bpm or all baroques are 60bpm?

I usually just get it at mp3.com (the Baroque and classical stuff)

They try to screw you with this streaming MP3, stuff, but to get around it, you just find the address of the file and save it, and then you have a copy on your hard drive...it's not bullet proof by any means.

I tried searching Kazaa before and couldn't find a good mp3 of anything classical.
