As what Paul would say "Don't beat yourself up." Photo reading is a skill to realize not a skill to acquire through hard work and tension. Remember also that Super reading and MInd Probe is a big part of the activation technique that you need to give importance to. Before reading ask yourself questions about what would you like from this book. Look at the table of contents and ask questions about them...This is what I usually do when I super read...Ask questions and get to the relevant info...On your question about the photofocus state, it is much better if you don't give yourself an expectation to succeed because that mainly interferes with our ability to learn. Be playful with it...Consider it as something more of a hobby with which there is no work (struggle) involved. It will be much more relaxing than struggling and frustrating yourself, telling yourself you should bureaucratically follow the steps in order for you to succeed. Forget about the steps! Be a kid again, get in touch with your curiousity and let that be your sole motivator...not getting it right bang on the first time...
