My understanding of Silva is that you visualize the "problem" one time framed in blue and then how you would like it to be framed in white. From then on you no longer visualize the problem, just the outcome framed in white.

The difficulty I see with process is that many times we don't know how to get there; if we did we could often just do it. Say you have a sickness in your body that no one has been able to help you with. You have tried everything. You don't know what action to undertake to cure yourself , so what do you visualize. Silva would say to vsualize a healthy looking, happy you and let your subconscious mind work out the details.

This is part of the difficulty I have with some of the paraliminal tapes. One of them, I think New Behavior, says to identify how you block yourself from the behavior you seek. Well, one of the things I am working on is being able to play guitar better. I practice all of the time, so I can't say that I need to practice more. My fingers just don't seem to go where they need to go with the ease of others I watch. I don't KNOW how I am blocking myself. Same with weight loss. I can't visualize myself eating less or better foods or exercising, because I already do all of those things. If process worked I would be at the weight I need to be. I suspect that I have a subconscious pattern of holding on and that this is applying to body fat as well as everything else. It seems my only hope and the reason I've delved into paraliminals and Silva is to let my subconscious figure things out because my conscious can't seem to. Visualizing process seems to be a conscious mind kind of decision, isn't it....Harry
