But seriously,
i think u should for sure send that letter to ur proffessor - i am sure he will be impressed. Not just because of your writing style and ur incredible ways with words, but because of its substance. There is an element of truth in it, and it sounds sincere.
That probably doesnt help u much, but u should still go to the class. Its great that you are questioning the core of this problem. Just go to the class, and see what happens. You might even pass - who knows. U have PRing!

I dont know.............stay in the class and c what happens. Even if u wont do as well as u wanted, u might learn something, but maybe u already have...........
