Well this just seems like nonesense to me. Visualization is essentially a creative act and there is really no need to bother with worrying about the process. Unless you are visualizing for some conscious preformance, rehersing some complex actions or such, I would focus on the end result. The mind has the power to create the desired end and if you force a particular way (process) for this to be achieved you are immediately limiting the creative ability of your deeper mind.

Most people fail at visualization because they don't take into account the need to develop a strong conviction and they usually give up too soon. A weak picture of something in your mind won't do anything. It needs to be charged with absolute conviction that it is so. Picture the end result and feel it as your reality, pretend it is already real and work on developing this conviction. Thought is creative and when properly focused and energized it can work miracles.
