Regarding Subdyn.com. I don't quite remember how I got there... OK. I think I was searching for info on Smart Media card and somehow the keyword "memory" led me to their site. I was immediately intrigued by the potentials of such techniques. Not that this was the first time I heard of it. But I had forgotten about it.
So I sent them an email requesting 1. more info on their technique, as their site is much less sophisticated both in form and in content, and 2. to talk to the owner about possibilities of my working with them to expand the business overseas, a part of the world they don't seem to have a presence yet (I sent a similar messages to this site, and have not heard a respone, either).
I then contacted the Department of Psychology of Arizona State University, which they claim to have conducted a series of tests, with positive results, on their method in either the late 70's or the early 80's. ... I might be wrong with the university name here again.
That was two days ago.
I received a email message from Dr. Foster of the said Department, and alas, I had made a mistake in the hurry and excitment. I had sent the message to a different university in Arizona. I would have kept my pursuit for information regarding those tests had I received a decent response from subdyn.com.
What I received was some sort of automated (or made to look like automated) message from subdyn.com, saying that the email address has received too much email and that they have stopped responding to the incoming messages, and please call this number (a toll number) to order, etc.
That disgusted me. And I decided it wouldn't be worth my time on them. But the idea of acquiring such capability still was of tremandous attraction to me. So I kept searching and found LearningStrategies.com. Having read through most of their content and some of the forum exchanges, such as Cheung's review, I decided to take the plunge.
Now something about myself. I was scientifically trained at the doctoral level in social science/management research, hence I could be overly analytical. But I am also very open-minded to things that science can't explain, at least not at the moment. I consider myself not only open minded but also spiritual. Years ago, I practiced Qigong of various sorts and about two years ago, I even tried Falugong on my own, just to see how effective it was as a Qigong method.
So the analytical me should not impair my ability to learn techniques, such as PhotoReading. I don't have to understand the whole process to practice it.
I am eagerly looking forward to receiving the package next Monday and get started immediately.
