If i want to learn dictionaries, what is the best way?
Because i can't preview it, understand the main points, etc, but i have to learn all the words and expressions in it.
If i photoread (i mean photofocus) it every day one or two times will it help me?

A dictionary is just a term given to describe ... you guessed it, a book.

Can PR'ing the dictionary help? Try it and see if your 'choice' of words begins to increse. You may be plesantly surprised!

I live and work in France but French is not my first language. In fact I am not even fluent. Last summer I just took a dictionary which I photoread every day (1-2 times) for a month or so. During this period I watched french TV, using it as activation. I was pleasantly surprised when at some point when trying to talk in french, words just came out of my mouth and I could form sentences. Before that I would start and at some point get stuck with a word.
So my advice is to photoread the dictionary as often as possible.

Instead of reading dictionaries, please consider photoreading the phrase books with dictionaries in the back for a foreign language. I have been learning Persian/Iranian/Farsi and since I have no shows to activate it with yet I simple pr it every day and build on my unconscious competence slowly but surely.

My purpose is different too from reading a whole dictionary. I intend to create ease in learning any language by making the structure, grammar, sound and feel of other languages a part of my unconscious language structuring. There is no replacement for personally embodying the languages you speak, but embodying a curiosity and openess to languages is the next best thng for me. It will help enormous with any languaging, including English, to have such a base of PRed phrasebooks, and I recommend it.

Okay, i go to a spanish "bilenguage" (we study in 2 lenguages) school so i know almost everything about the french grammar, but i don't know any words! i will PR some books and a french dictionary, and in a month we will come back to this topic :))
