I play 7 a side soccer every week for a social team which is a lot of fun. Since i am the least experienced i sometimes feel like i let the team down (which i am sure hinders my ability to get into the flow). I photoread several books on how to play soccer.

Great results! the next week I played I was dribbling, passing, attacking & defending better. I was impressed!

The only problem is the week later i went back to my original standard of play It seems whenever i photoread the night before i play well.

Does anybody know how to keep this newly attined ability to a new level that always improves???? (or was that last paragraph the answer, should that be my affirmation?)

Thankyou

OOhhh, jeez!
You WON'T play football better after PR-ing some books! You had selfconfidence because you belived that you're better after PRing som books. That's not true! If you could play as good as the others, you can play like that NOW TOO!
Just be convinced with youself!!

If you did it once you can do it again. Try the PR again the night before and if it's the only thing that works, hey, I've heard of weirder things people do to play better.

I guess what happens is that photoreading gives my other than conscious mind the confidence from within. I would like that to be a permanent structure of the mind. To effortlessly believe. Another possibility is that after i photoread the books I almost "watch" myself play to see how i improve rather than know how to play.
Just a thought.

This forum can be quite helpful at helping you answer your on questions. INTERESTING

Try this next time. I did it with tennis. Every time you are about to dribble or hit a ball in soccer, imagine your tangerine on your head. Also, go into your photo-focus state. Suddenly, I think, you'll be calmer, your instincts will get better, you'll see your opponents and the 'lanes' to go around them better. Your shot to hit the ball will be better. Etc, etc.
I did this with tennis. Also, I would state my purpose "The purpose of playing tennis is to be able to have excellent return serve" or "The purpose of playing tennis is to have an excellent serve."
I didn't become a champion player but I did play much better.
Try it.

Dovio,

You may not be aware how you are naturally activating the information you PhotoRead.

Read about the "Direct Learning" process in the PhotoReading and/or Natural Brilliance books. Paul S. created it specifically for non-conscious activation of new skills and behaviors from PhotoReading authoritative how-to books.....without manual activation.

It's apparent you are already starting to activate new skills and behaviors automatically. Good job!
