Yes Dana, I spent one afternoon with PR-ing, (I knew the material because I studied it in history lessons) then next day afternoon I superread it, and I read the whole crap (40 A/4 pages..) again, but the 3rd day when I had my exam, I didn't remember anything... I was not nervious, etc, simply I didn't know anything of the text.
