I'm finished this course some months ago, and I'm trying to use it, I photoread some books, but it doesn't work...
I don't know what is the problem, but I think the problem is with my belief. I don't think this PR would work, and my results shows that I'm right..
Or I have some other problems? I don't know. Please help!

I'm having the same problem with photoreading. i have yet to activate even one book correctly. there should be a quick, easy, 100% working way to activate books. all this other stuff like superreading and finding trigger words seems like a waste. the whole reason i bought the course is to save time not waste it.

Dompi and Gelvecron,

How many 30-minute activation sessions did you have on your book before the entire thing "gelled" and you comprehended it fully?

Also, are you doing all of the activation techniques in each 30-minute pass?

-crafting several Mind Probing questions
-SuperReading & Dipping from cover-to-cover
-adding a set of branches on your Mind Map after each pass

Yes Dana, I spent one afternoon with PR-ing, (I knew the material because I studied it in history lessons) then next day afternoon I superread it, and I read the whole crap (40 A/4 pages..) again, but the 3rd day when I had my exam, I didn't remember anything... I was not nervious, etc, simply I didn't know anything of the text.

Okay. Here is what I need to find out in order to help you:

-how many 30-minute Activations sessions you spend on your study material

-what Mind Probing questions did you craft with the key words and phrases you wrote down when you Previewed for 8 minutes

-how many layers of branches you put on your Mind Map

-how many 30 minute sessions of Rapid Reading did you have

it's in spanish, but i can write it down if you want no, i think i wrote the right ones. if you want to know if they were the right questions, you had to know my text too.

-how many layers of branches you put on your Mind Map

this time: 6.

-how many 30 minute sessions of Rapid Reading did you have

i don't know this. i read it twice after PRing, etc. (NOT rapid reading.)

Remember, as a rule of thumb, the more comprehension you want, the more 30-minute activation passes you will have.

Did you fully comprehend the information after those 3 sessions? If not, then keep cycling the activation techniques. Save all the detail for Rapid Reading. This is where you go back and get all the specific detail you want from the entire chapter, or entire book.

Now in each 30-minute activation session, you're supposed to super read/dip or skitter through the entier book?

Of course, say you had 10 specific mind probing questions. One could find the answers to those in 15-20 minutes using super reading and dipping.

Then, you have the answers to 10 questions.
Now, in finding the answers to those questions, one will likely find the answers to more possible questions.

But lets say our purpose in reading it is quite general... and we don't know say 30 well-formed questions to ask. Say it is a philosophy book, with a meticulous train of thought.

now will the book eventually gel, with about 80% comprehension, after a number of activation sessions in which all the techniques are followed with respect to a limited number of mind-probing questions?

Besides looking for clues from our inner mind, when we super read/dip/skitter, how do we take advantage of the fact that our inner mind has already seen the material?

I am finding that the only material that seems "familiar" to me is material that I have super read or material that I already know alot about.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
---Chris

Yup. Each activation pass creates a layer of comprehension of the entire book at a conscious level, in your conscious mind. The activation techniques have you build comprehension from whole-to-parts, structure first, and increasingly more detail as you go.

Now you're getting it.

You will notice as you're SuperReading & Dipping, or Skittering & Dipping, your conscious mind will begin to automatically throw out questions about what exactly you are activating. And, your inner mind will continue guiding you to the answers to all of those questions.

Then keep your purpose/outcome statement general. Go in to get a general understanding of the whole book by activating it cover-to cover in 30-minute passes.

Absolutely.

Let's say you have a book that would take you 10 hours to get through and comprehend with your present reading skill. Once you master the basics of PhotoReading, you can take that same book and in 3 hours or less, you'll comprehend it fully, with better understanding and improved retention.

All of the activation techniques allow you to "burn in" new neuro pathways in your brain, between your conscious mind and your memory bank. This is the way our brain was designed to learn and store information. Conversely, this is also the reason pushing your eyes faster and faster and faster across the page in a typical speed reading course causes stress and anxiety, since your mind doesn't liked being forced to do something.

That is normal. Very very little will seem familiar when you first start activating.

The more Mind Probing questions you craft with the trigger words and phrases you wrote down during the Preview step, the quicker the entire book will "gel" when you are activating.

Hope this helps!
