I am a first-year fifth grade teacher considering purchasing the home course. I oftne feel overwhelmed by the amount of reading in content areas which I have to teach, as well as professional reading. I'd like to hear from other teachers to see whether Photoreading can really help me, or just be more work.

LindaB,

First and foremost, my upmost admiration to you! You are the first in line to shape our children of today to be our leaders of the future.

What joy you must get from knowing that you do make a difference in this world!

Your overwhelm is understandable and this will improve with time. Any new activity, no matter what it may be, take's time for one to adjust to.

Will the PR course help? Pr will help for you to understand material upto 3 time's faster is what is claimed. However it's more than that. It's about a new method to approaching material that is fun, fast and long term.

Will PR be more work? Yes, it requires some upfront work. Nothing in life comes easy ... unless it's inherited of course!
Your initial invest of time upfront will and I can guarantee will pay off dividends!

I'm not a teacher officially, however I consider myself a teacher to my kids as my goal is to set the example (PR'ing, Mem Optimizer, Genius Code) by which they can follow and benefit from in their futures!
