I'm pursuing the same path, my ultimate goal is the CCIE. Right now I have the CCNA and have passed the Routing Exam for CCNP (Three to go!) I have not purchased PR yet, but one of the main reasons I would, is if it will help me get through those 1000+ page Cisco books quicker, while still comprehending everything.

I haven't used photoreading in any of my certification training, but I have no doubt that it would have cut the time by at least 50%.

I did use it for obtaining my Private Pilot's license.... yes it did help.
