Let's see here , by the time you , prepare , enter accelerative learning state , afffirm , enter photo state , close , and don't forget to survey , trigger words , and then there is super reading , dipping and rapid read , skittering , mind probing , not to include mapping , just to name a few, all of theres are reading , is it just me or is it just faster to read the book. On tape 4 now and i think i could have already read and understod the book by now, seems to me i still have to go back and spend alot of time reading it anyway ????

I had the same thoughts as I went through the course. However, the more you practice the quicker you can move through the various steps. I have a long way to go before I can state that I have mastered this. However, I can say that I have noticed quite an improvement in my comprehension and reading speed. I have not experienced a spontaneous activation and am slowly believing that concept to be bs.

Stick with it. For me a slight improvement is better than nothing. I am hopeful for continued improvement.

The time you spend is worth it! My mom and I are reading the same book. She has spent 5 or 6 hours with it and is about 1/2 through. I've spent almost 2 hours not quite and I know just as much if not more than her. The system really works. Just keep trying and you will get it.

Cjo,

The one thing that really really stand out with PR is this ...

With regular reading utilizing the conscious mind ... you will remember the material but this quickly fades after about 48 hours and you loose even more comprehension after that.

Now with PR, since the material is now part of the subconscious and after using whatever activation techniques that appeal to you ... retention of the material is much more longer term. This is worth it's weight in gold!

Some if not many of the techniques are derived using brain friendly techniques, meaning the learning process is not only fun, relaxing but the material becomes a part of your knowledge base upon which you can build from.

Sometimes the most challenging way is the most rewarding way!
