I usually still use a soft focus while super reading, so I can still see words on the left and right in my peripheral vision, but it shouldn't matter too much.

The whole concept is that your conscious mind sees parts that your subconscious mind recognizes. So, even if you can't see the words on the far left or right, your intuition on when to dip is still based on a decent amount of conscious word patterns that your subconscious can still remember.

You should be okay, but try using soft focus, and don't forget the tangerine technique.

I usually just try to go into alpha state, and that helps me (roll your eyes to the top of your head and pretend to look at the ceiling for like 10-20 seconds). I don't know if tangerine puts you in that state, but I think they're close enough.
