It does have a strobing effect in the options menu. I dont know if that is what you were referring to.True, you can make your whole computer screen flash at a designated rate. ..but that's rather silly because most of the effect of visual entrainment comes from the fact that it takes up the entire field of vision. This is known as the Ganzfield Effect. It deadens the sense--whichever sense--by providing a ubiquitous repeating signal.
Also, if you own a mind machine with audio strobe such as the Orion or the Proteus, you can use the goggles that come with them in conjunction with the bwgen. I occasionally do this--a very neat feature.
