Thank you for responding. I believe you hit the nail on the head. I do want peace and the ability to prioritize. I feel so overwhelmed at times I just want to give up.

I purchased the Celebration Series, Spanish and Memory Charger. I will soon purchase the Decisive Action and Photoreading course. I belive both of these will be particularly benefical to me as I seem to prograstinate, but of course that could be because I can't remember things :-). The photo reading will certainly be a welcoming change because I spend far too much time reading material. If I can soak in the information faster it will certainly help to propel my career. I am in the IT field. Currently working as a Software Tester but aspire to be a Database Modler or Informaiton Architect.

I listened to the Memory Charger last night and once I laid down to sleep I had vivid memories/flashes of images. I am not sure if it is somethign Paul told me on the tape or just thoughts, but they were so real. The Spanish tape is very well thought out. It is ingenious the way they present the new language. After 2 sessions I am already retaining information and visualizing the word in spanish in my head.

Thanks again for your response.

Hello,

Two years ago I could have put the same post here and sign it. Single parent and all the rest of it.

However, instead of going into what products to buy, I would rather like to make an attempt to give your mind some rest.

Give yourself credit for everything you do. Be happy about the choices you have. You can afford a baby-sitter! Your child is doing well! You are supporting yourself...

You say you wish you could have your daydreams back. I, too, found myself longing for what I liked to do most as a teenager or longing to be back where I grew up. I think it has to do with feeling overwhelmed and wanting to escape from now back to where everything seemed to be much easier, less responibility, not caring about day-to-day living, what to have for dinner, constant struggle for being in time, a struggle a toddler is completely ignorant about...So, I realized I should do something about getting that sort of peace with myself back, be at ease with me, get rid of what I don't need, keep the things that are truly precious to me in focus now.

I dare say, if you start the journey of coming to better terms with your life, no matter what courses, methods etc. you use, the most profound outcomes will be very simple things and personal insights, like the above mentioned joy about what you have and considering everything else you are longing for just a topping on the cake.

With all the money my new job gave me (the new job came before I bought any of the courses) I bought quite a few of the Learning Strategies products. Like you I was fascinated by the Photoreading course so I started with that, actually didn't know about any other et that time. Over the last two years I also bought the Decisive action and then the Ideal Mindset. I am waiting for the "Nat. Brilliance" course.

I feel now, that the Ideal Mindset should have been at the beginning because it helps you sifting through your priorities and goals. It is very difficult to define priorities when you think you actually want it all, now. Thanks to the tapes I came to see how to combine a few goals and got going into the direction where I wanted too.
I often come back to quite a few of the tapes, the paraliminal as well as the explanations or "lectures". When I felt just as overwhelmed like you do, I loved listening to Paul Scheeles paraliminal introduction tapes while doing the dishes, because it stopped my thoughts running in old circles on the same level about the same old projects I haven't done and should do... and gave me courage to move on and succeed.

I am still not using the PR exclusively on everything, even though I had experience that showed me that it works. From my experience the ideal mindset and the decisive action kick in faster because they have a bigger influence on how to juggle everyday life, whereas to me PR is more another skill to learn, important if you really need it. Then it will also work faster, I guess. If, until you saw the infomercial you were quite happy with the way you handled your reading and studying, in short if you weren't actually looking for something to speed up your reading then maybe the PR can wait? It's all your choice. I am not dissappointed by any of the courses.

If you go for any of the LS products you may experience 1. that success breeds success and that success doesn't necessarily mean 100% victory in all areas of your live all in one day,
2. to feel in charge again
3. you can achieve anything YOU PUT YOUR MIND UPON, (my success lies in making my work more enjoyable and keeping a good relationship with my child, even though the time is so limited due to my job)
4. to find surprising things/ goals/ persons already close to you where you REALLY want to put your efforts and energy in and doing so effortless and continuously.

Whatever choice you go for it will work out fine.

Happy Day
