I've received a few e-mails to address certain issues concerning as to whether or not PR really works. I've also been told that I've used a generic, pre-scripted testimony to post here and to send as personal replies. I was even accused of perpetuating a lie here. What would I have to gain from it is a mystery to me as I am not an employee of Learning Strategies. I just know that I have had tremendous results using what I have learned from the course. I guess that I have made it if I have my own personal debunkers. lol. If what I have written seems pre-scripted, it's because I've been trying to phrase it to convey something a bit more clearly and use decent, if not the best, grammar. What is wrong with wanting to be a bit more articulate in writing and learning?

I know. I just shrug it off and continue on. I am glad to know that it goes well for others who learn to use PhotoReading. I've not the time for being miserable so I don't worry unduly about what they think but thank you. I've had a blast learning new things this way and a list of the people that find this technique interesting. They like putting me to the test and I love it. Their expressions are priceless but they still don't believe it eventhough I have answered thier questions correctly. They tell others that it's only a select few that can do this and you have to have a high IQ. I do like telling them my scholastic history in high school and showing them my progress reports and report cards from then. They weren't great at all. If I had some sent now, they'd be pretty darn good.

How long have you been using the system? I'm approaching the half year mark in a month or two. I'm faster than anyone else I know, but you, and others on this board are probably faster/better.

I have been doing this for a little over three years now. I have improved in speed since starting. It has been fun. I can just hit the scroll bar on the computer and photoread the text now. I've never tried to figure out how fast it is but I am getting better and better as I go along.

Yeah, and everyone does. I still remember the first time I had spontaneous activation with my science textbook. It was amazing. Just imagine how good you can be after 10 years. Hehehe. For me:I'll be 23. -youngprer

Just a tip: most browsers let you use the keyboard to scroll down a page...it's usually less awkward to press and release the space bar than it is to use page down (at least for me), so it works well for PRing. -Ramon http://razor.ramon.com

When you guys scroll down and PR like this, is this just the PR step and then you have to go over the pages again and activate, or have you 'read' it after the scrolling?

Well, I am at the point where the activation has been happening almost automatically. This is after a few years of doing it almost daily.

Yes. Takes lots of heavy practice. Out of every fact, I have about 1 out of every about 30 that come to me automatically. This summer, I plan to do about 8 books per day. That'll be lots of fun. I'll probably run out before I get a chance to do many, though. -youngprer
