Tonight I had a dream. . .it's an odd feeling, but I could somewhat control what happened. It's like. . .I could control where I went, but not my actual body movement. "I want to go over there," I would say, and then in the dream I would walk, but almost not by choice.

After I woke up, I questioned how close I was to knowing it was not real.

Could this be a step closer to lucid dreaming? :O

Congratulations, you have just had a lucid dream. I will tell you, since I have begun PRing I have been having more and more of these dreams per week. Fun stuff (I once blew up a Ford factory with all my enemies inside it, :shiver: morbid)

No, I do not believe that's it. . .I didn't really know it was a dream, I could just control what I was doing somewhat during the dream.

However, I do admit my dream recall has been getting greater and greater. 5/7 nights that I sleep, I remember a dream now.

And isn't it true, that there are furthur techniques for lucid dreaming?

yes there are, basically it is to ask yourself about every hour or so if you are actually dreaming. Then it becomes second nature and you do it in your dreams.

Trust me, that is the way it works, Iv had tons of these. Im not a pro, I cant get them to happen when I want them do. Probably because I dont want them too, I enjoy spontenaity.

I read a book on lucid dreaming once, INCREADIBLY REPETATIVE

You did lucid dream. Now there may be a distinction between lucid dreaming and out of body experience.

A lucid dream is simply that. A dream in which you became lucid or aware that you were dreaming.

Whether you had more or less control is a different issue altogether. That is a matter of technique not a question of lucidity.

Pick-up the book, "The Art of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge.

even before photoreading ive been having lucid dreams then, i thought thats the way all dreams were.

But when i got photoreading i had a dream i could fully remember and thought in the dream it was one and started hitting myself to get out but in the dream i then thought it was real cause i never woke up and i didnt skip to other things , i could actually feel myself real in the dream carrying a stick at least a 100 metre to give to my uncle it was a cool dream , i like these dreams better than lucid dreams then.

That's the thing. I didn't know I was dreaming. That's what everyone is not understanding.

Hi youngprer
Start keeping a dream diary. I have great vivid - I don't know about lucid -dreams that i sometimes have to get up at 3:00 in the morning and write down. When you look back over the diary months later, you'll be able to put yourself back there.

hi youngper

You are a step closer to lucid dreams... vivid dreams in themselves are great. I've been having great dream recall and vivid dreams since taking the Silva Mind Control course in 1990.

I've had 4 lucid dreams in the space of 5 days last week unexpected and even more lucid than ever before.(thanks to the memory supercharger tape) 360 degree view and clarity of colour (aussie spelling). As suspected upon awaking they were precognition dreams. Warnings. 2 days after the last dream the content came true fortunately because of the dreams I was able to react to the event in a calmer manner. Having already done a full assessment of the situation in my dreams and in my dreams tried to correct the event.

I had and OBE following the event, followed by another lucid dream. Funny how you mind trys to prepare you for something hey?

Alex.

A dream diary. . .that's a good idea. I've been remembering a dream every night, now. That's even more than when I was a 5 year old, which usually they dream more than average adults or even my age.
